  9.        WinFC is a Microsoft Windows 3.1(tm) text file comparison
  10.        utility which graphically represents the differences between
  11.        two text files. You can conveniently navigate through the
  12.        differences between two files using toolbar navigation or 
  13.        by the next/previous menu item found in the difference menu.
  14.  
  15.        The currently active difference is indicated by the red 
  16.        graphics area between the two files, and all other differences 
  17.        are indicated by the black graphics.

  19.    New Features in V1.0B:
  20.    ----------------------
  21.     V1.0A fixed the GPF that occurred when closing using the system
  22.         menu or Alt-F4.
  23.  
  24.     V1.0B adds the ability to ignore blank lines and white spaces 
  25.         when comparing files.  Currently, these options can only be
  26.         selected by editing WINFC.INI (provided in the evaluation package).
  27.         To ignore blank lines when comparing files, edit WINFC.INI and 
  28.         change the line:
  29.         IgnoreBlankLines=0
  30.         to:
  31.             IgnoreBlankLines=1
  32.  
  33.         To ignore white space (blanks and tabs) when comparing files, edit
  34.         WINFC.INI and change the line:
  35.         IgnoreSpaces=0
  36.         to:
  37.             IgnoreSpaces=1
  38.  
  39.         Also in V1.0B is the ability to turn off the graphics highlighting
  40.         in the center region.  To turn off the graphics, edit WINFC.INI and
  41.         change the line:
  42.             NoGraphics=0
  43.         to:
  44.             NoGraphics=1
  45.  
  46.         Note that these options will not take effect until the next time
  47.         that WinFC is activated.  A future release of WinFC will provide
  48.         a dialog box to dynamically change these and future options.

  50.    Installation:   
  51.    -------------   
  52.        1) Create a directory to hold all the WinFC related files.  
  53.           The recommended directory name (used in the following 
  54.           instructions) is "C:\WINFC".
  55.  
  56.        2) Copy all WinFC-related files to this directory. You need
  57.           WinFC1B.exe at a minimum.
  58.  
  59.        3) Add WinFC to a program group by selecting the program
  60.           group you want to add WinFC to, select the program
  61.           manager's File->New menu item entry. Select "Program item"
  62.           and the press "OK". Fill in the following fields and then
  63.           press "OK":
  64.                       Description: WinFC
  65.         Command Line: winfc1b.exe
  66.                       Working Dir: c:\winfc

  68.   Uninstall   
  69.   ---------
  70.     To uninstall WinFC goto the WinFC directory, or the
  71.     directory where you located the WinFC files. Delete all the
  72.     files found in the following packing list section. If you
  73.     created a separate directory for the WinFC files, that
  74.     directory can now be deleted.

  78.     The complete WinFC V1.0b evaluation package should contain
  79.     the files listed in PACKING.LST.  Please be sure that each file is
  80.     present. If any of the files or PACKING.LST are missing then 
  81.     the package is not complete and is not suitable for distribution to
  82.     others.

  86.     WinFC was designed and implemented to run under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or  
  87.     Windows for Workgroups. It has not tested by the authors in any other    
  88.     environment.  A 80386 or better processor is also required.

  93.     Feel free to distribute WinFC in it's entirety to others. All that is asked
  94.     is that this file remain with the distributed copies. This product is    
  95.     shareware. If you like it, please register.  If you want to license a number 
  96.     of copies, please refer to the information found in the ORDER.TXT file.

  131.     WinFC is a Shareware program, this is not free software, and is provided at
  132.     no charge to users for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends   
  133.     and colleagues, but please do not give it away altered or as part of another 
  134.     system.

  136.     This license allows you to use this software for evaluation purposes without 
  137.     charge for a period of 30 days. If you use this software after the 30 day     
  138.     evaluation period a registration fee of $15 is required. Payments must be in
